Farooq, the presenter is a UK Pakistani-married-Malaysian. My first impression on him was, he’s bald. He has an excellent aura in presenting himself. I really enjoyed his class. He started by giving simple questions on the whiteboard. Whoever gets the answer will get marbles representing marks for each team. Examples of the questions are something like:
ECNALG – Backward Glance
WEAR – Long Underwear
LONG
Before he starts his lecture. He introduced himself and he had asked us to write on a piece of paper of what we think of him. Then, it is our turn to introduce ourselves and evaluated by the rest. We were video-tapped for this session. The things that we have to say in front:
Name : Ace~
Job Title : Concultant
Why do you like your work? : The work differs everyday
What is your concern on presentation? : Stage-Fright
Who would you like most to go for a date? : Brad Pitt
And, below is what people think of me:
- hardworking, talkative – Could this be written by SFR (Coz, people wouldn’t know that I am hardworking by first impressions. Can they? Talkative – hehe, I have no comment on that).
- Good, don’t show nervousness – I think this could be by the presenter
- hardly knows, funny… I guess, sweet smile
- wow! – Hehe, I wonder who wrote this?
- confident, experienced, fun, pleasant
- What a great, great person you are – Could it be the guy I admire?
- My name is Brad Pitt too! - Could it be the guy I admire?
- Experience, garang… berapa anak u ada? – Azlina????
- You make me crazy – Hmm… crazy?
- Cute, Nice Mum, helpful, humble – Hmm.. is it you, CheeseChoc?
- Fluent
- Cool, you know what you need – PINKy???
- PRESENTABLE
- OK
- Very Pretty, Very Fluent
FYI, the audience had to write it down on a piece of paper and fold it twice. So, you wouldn’t know who says what to you? Which in this case, I would really want to find out. Hehe.. However, I did not get to follow the training till the end, because I had to go to Client’s Place. Damn. Anyways, I am going tomorrow and I heard that we have a homework and for that reason, I can’t write much today because I have to prepare my slides for the rehearsal tomorrow. The BIG DAY is on Saturday. We even had to wear the proper attire. My-my, this is really scary. But, look at the bright side, this would be an Added-Value thingy for myself and it also helps me to build up my level of confidence. I supposed it is not such a bad thing after all. Wish me all the best, surely I do not want to make a fool of myself although this is just a ‘training’. See ya, peeps.
**HELP! I am sleepy, even before I get started.
