Is it father’s day? Well, yes it is (Next, 19th June). I have 2 great men in my life and both are fathers. They are of course my father, Abah and my hubby, Babah. Therefore, today I will be sharing some stories about the 2 men I love the most.
Abah
I am the 3rd and the only girl in the family. Most people will think that I am such a spoiled brat. Don’t think so? As for me, I would see myself as the more independent and probably VERY stubborn. I was very close with my father. We always go for night walks together when I was young. I guess, later after that we did not get to spend quality time as much due to me being sent to boarding school ® college ® UKM ® Manchester.
I would say that I am blessed and thankful to have a father like him. He is very sporting even though at times he can be unpredictable. I still remember when I was waiting for my SRP results, my friend ask me to join her to Sarawak for holiday but I told her don’t put your hopes to high because I don’t think he will let me. Shockingly, he gave me the permission. Yeay! See, didn’t I tell you that he’s cool.
Not everyday that he’s in a good mood though. Well, this is the intense part. When he’s mad or angry, he don’t scold instead he’ll be in total silence. And at this moment, I will go crazy because nobody knows who he’s mad or angry with. Since I felt that most of the time I was the problem-maker, so I will quietly go to my mother and ask her was it me who did wrong? Hehe..
Wrapping up, he is the BEST DAD ever for me. Happy Father’s Day, Abah.
Truly, there’s a lot more to tell and it can go on forever. Probably, next time.
Babah
It is already 5 years that I am married to him (This coming July is our 5th Anniversary). He is the father of my 2 lovely daughters. Nothing much for me to tell about him as yet, just want to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for being HIM and Happy Father’s Day, Babah.
Final touch on this father’s day, I also want to wish Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there. Especially, to my 2 elder brothers, my brother-in-laws and my fatherly-male-friends.
