Scenes from the Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya

Stories from the Emergency Room or Ward or wherever in the hospital, Heh!

Scene 1 : Heartbreaking
Kakak was really helpless on my shoulders. I carried her around from the registration desk to one of the Emergency Rooms. Put her down on the bed. She gave me a really sad look. My heart is breaking into pieces. The doctors then took her blood, she cried and cried and cried. I can hear her pain. I was just standing there looking at her, not able to do anything… :(

Scene 2 : Funny
Story I
I was with Kakak, waiting for my hubby and Dedek. After a while, they finally found us in one of the rooms. And here comes the nurse,

Nurse : Aik! Rasanya tadi saya dah bawa Alya masuk ke dalam. Tapi, kenapa nampak Alya ader kat luar???
Me : Ni Alya kat sini.
Nurse : Eh! Laa, kembar ker? (Looking at both Kakak and Dedek)
Me : hehe… tak dek lah. Satu tahun beza.
Nurse : Nampak cam kembar jer.

Story II
Dedek and hubby came to the hospital to pay Kakak a visit. That time, the doctors were doing their afternoon rounding for check ups on patients. On Alya’s bed there’s Dedek’s nursery beg and also Dedek is jumping up and down happily.

Doctor : Eh! Alya dah nak balik ker, pakai baju lawa-lawa nih?
Me : Huh! Tak dek lah. Alya kan yang baring nih. Ni adik dia. ( hehe.. I was telling myself, not again)
Doctor : Laa.. nampak sama jer. So, Alya cemana hari nih?

Sometimes I wonder, do they really look alike? Hmmpphhh…

Scene 3 : Annoyed
You can find a lot of medical students in Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya. Thus, there were number of students who actually came to me to ask question regarding Alya’s sickness and other problems.

The first day we were there, there is this one female student asking me a lot of question. However, I was all right with her probably because the way she asked and represent herself does not irritate me that much. Even though, she came to me a couple of time after that I was still in good mood.

However, there were another 2 female students who wanted to do the same thing, which is getting information on my daughter. But, the approach that they use was a bit displeasing and it tick-off the ‘aloof’ button. I became unapproachable. Hehe.. sorry, but I could not help myself.

Sometimes, when you really think of it. It is funny to know, at one place a lot of moods can be triggered. And you are just being YOU.

Nites~
