Me? Raya???

I am not going anywhere this coming Raya. For the very first time, I am not going ‘Balik Kampung’ at all. If not, every single year we would drive back to Kelantan without fail.

So, up till now, we have no plans yet on where to go other than, my parents house in which is a MUST.. :)

But, just to make Raya more meaningful this year, even though I am just spending it in the so-called deserted town, I thought of baking cakes and cookies. Yeay!! I have my own Raya project!!

I have been browsing for recipes and I’ve got a couple already. I hope, I could really do it. I mean, what is Raya without anything extraordinary, rite? So, here goes something.. heheh

But, but, the thing that my kids will be missing most this Raya is not getting a whole lot of ‘duit raya’. Reason being, there’s not much places to visit as in close relatives. I mean, it is not as if, ‘money’ is the only thing that I want for them, but that’s what keeps the whole Raya thingy wonderful and nice other than the fire-crackers and all for my kids. They will also get the pampering and Raya clothes from uncles and aunties. I suppose, to the uncles and aunties, could you please just keep the clothes till Raya Haji and as for the ‘duit raya’, I could always sms you, my account number. Heheh.. just kidding! *wink*

So, watch out for my cookies and I’ll keep you posted on the progress of each, better still if I could just take some pictures of it and include the recipes for you viewers to try it too!! Hmm… excellent idea, rite? :)
