The Employer Episode

These few days after my young maid shook her head not knowing how to wash my kids made me think and think a lot. So, yesterday I went back home with the mission of, I need to talk to her. I mean, it wouldn’t be fair to her if I don’t give her a chance, rite?

She was helping me in the kitchen, cutting the vegetables, onions and all. I don’t know why, but I felt a bit nervous because you see, I don’t like to do this kind of talking. And so, here I am, trying my best to say it in a very good way trying not to offend her. Gosh! Why is it so hard for me to do a very simple thing like this?

Then, I suddenly blurted, “Ayu, nanti minggu depan hari Selasa, budak-budak cuti jadik, diorang akan duduk di rumah. Ayu nanti kena tolong mandikan, cucikan diorang kalau dia buang air kecil/besar. Boleh? Tak perlah, kalau Ayu tak tahu, Ayu belajar lah perlahan-perlahan ok?” and she nodded with short reply, “Yes”.

Hmm.. so, there you go. I have said it. And she took it well, so I supposed she can do it and there’s nothing for me to worry. Probably, that day, I was at home and so that is why she didn’t want to do it. Maybe, when I am not around it’ll be easier.

I was totally relieved. Heheh.. I tell you, if not I was like carrying a heavy weight on my shoulders and now the burden’s gone. Capish!!! Heheh.. I guess, I was just freaking out at basically NOTHING. Heheh.. goodness, I am such a drama!!! Hahahah…
