Dear Mom & Dad,

Mohd Tohir & Siti Zalehah,
The sweetest couple alive,
22nd October, a day to remember,
For 37 years together.

Yes, thirty-seven years of marriage,
Started when a girl meets a boy.

Thirty-seven years of laughs and love,
Thirty-seven years of joy.

They settled in together,
The man who speaks his mind so well.
And the woman sweet as sugar and honey,
Together they're just so swell.

His tough exterior belies,
A great softness inside,
Her boundless warmth and love,
Is for all of us a source of true pride.

All that love and sweet feeling
Made a family a sure thing.
Life is good for individuals,
For families it's even greater.

We the children have to admit it,
We were truly a challenge to raise, (especially me!)
But Abah & Mak handled all so well,
To our everlasting praise.

Just to set the record straight,
You're the best parents anyone ever had.

You see, you guys taught me how to love,
to love with all my heart, my very soul,
and with both of you in my life, I feel complete,
both of you are the one that makes me completely whole.

And mere distance may separate us,
sheer circumstance may keep us apart,
but I know we'll always be together,
because we're joined by the heart.

And on this anniversary date,
When we celebrate your life and love,
We thank you, love you and wish you
Only bluest skies above.
