She was at the lobby, waiting for the lift. From far, she could see him coming towards her. She quickly turned her gaze to something else. She was then caught focusing on the 4 lifts surrounding her. He made a step forward. She saw the level changes to G. Yes! Finally, she thought. She hurriedly walked into the lift. He was very close behind her. He whispered “Fasting today?” She answered ‘yes’ without even looking.
She stood quietly at one corner. He can’t seem to take his eyes off her. After a long silence, he said something to break the ice. They both talk in awkwardness.
‘Ting’. She already reached her level. She dashed out and the lift slowly closes.
