Unforgettable

On leave today coz had to bring my kids to HKL. Something interesting happened at the hospital. As usual, the waiting is killing. However, the waiting turn out to be fine when a couple start having a little chat with us. It all started like this, I was feeding my daughters with ‘Twisties’ and I saw a boy, in which is the couple’s son was looking. And so, I offered the boy the ‘Twisties’. Then, the mother start asking me questions on my kids, like what is wrong with them? Do they suffer leukemia (because of my daughters hair which was never long – nearly bald)? And so forth. I ended up telling them my daughters ‘history’. The wife told me to be strong and said that this is a test from God to hubby and I. I gave her a sheepish smile. The husband too looks concern and he comforted me as well. He played with my kids and to my surprise my kids loved him instantly. I did asked them, what was wrong with their son and he told, the son did not have a liver, but he is glad that the son was healthy and well. They just come for normal checking to make sure that he is ok. Then, it was time for them to go back. We shook hands and the man was so generous that he gave Kakak RM10. I was touched by the gesture.

See, wherever we go there is actually a lot of kind, generous and bighearted people around. Although, it was nothing much but the thought and the care showed by a stranger was so meaningful. The ‘family’ had brighten my day, OUR day.

Thank you very much wherever and whoever you are.
