Shopping Raya

Friday was a Public Hoilday for Selangor. Good for me because I am working in Selangor. Yeay! Anyways, hubby and I took this opportunity to do our ‘Shopping Raya’. As usual, our favorite spot for kids wear would be ‘SOGO’. We reached ‘SOGO’ at 11am and we left ‘SOGO’ at 4pm. I tell you, there’s a lot of people ‘like US’ taking this one day holiday to buy as much as possible.

Hubby and I started with the Children’s Section. We split ourselves and grab anything that we find ‘NICE’. It wasn’t that hard to search for Dedek’s clothes because she is small and petite unlike Kakak, she is very tall for her age.

At about 12:30, we finally gathered quite a bit of clothes for both of them. We sat aside and start choosing the best ones. End up getting 2 dresses each, 2 shirts each and 2 pants for Dedek. Yupp, didn’t get Kakak’s pants yet. However, we have to stop for a while, as my hubby needs to do his Friday Prayers. I was surprised to see that there’s a lot of muslim men didn’t go for Friday Prayers. I mean, there’s a nearby Masjid for them to go to. Furthermore, it is fasting month and HELLO!!! It is not as if you guys cannot continue the shopping spree after, right?

*sigh*

Since my hubby went to pray, I took this chance to go to the Ladies Department. Gawd!! It was lunch break and ‘SOGO’ was filled with all the women in town. The queue for each of the cashier counters was very long. Urghh!!!

Suddenly, something attracts my eyes. It was a light brown ‘Kebaya’. And guess how much it was? It is around RM300-RM400. Hmm.. I have to wait for my hubby, coz this definitely needs his approval. Not long after, my hubby called. He finished his prayers and I haven’t completed my shopping just yet. I did not get to buy anything for me. I told myself, I would probably do my own shopping later. Today is more for my kids and my hubby. Thus, I rushed back to 5th floor. Looked around for Kakak’s pants.

Met up with hubby and again, we split ourselves and do a ‘pants-hunt’ for Kakak. Finally, we found it. I was relieved because we could proceed to other sections now. Told my hubby to go to the Men’s Department meanwhile I pay up for the stuff.

We told ourselves that we have to leave ‘SOGO’ at 4pm. We wanted to run away from the ‘Friday-bad-traffic’. My hubby is unquestionably celebrating Raya as he got himself a pair of pants, casual shirt, long sleeve shirt and a short sleeve shirt. Wow!!! And me????!! Guess, have to do another trip for my SELF. Haih.

It was tiring and exhausting day. Fetch Kakak and Dedek from nursery and went straight home to cook for ‘breaking fast’.

That wraps the ‘Shopping Raya’ for today. Thank you.
