Kakak & Dedek’s Development

One thing that never fails to make me put on a smile when both my daughters showed improvements in their daily lives.

I am very happy because recently they have developed new things as well. Whenever I hang or fold the clothes, both of my daughters will say the owner of the clothes I was holding. When I’m holding my ‘baju’ they’ll shout ‘Mama, mama’. When it was my hubby’s ‘baju’, they’ll go ‘Babah, babah’ and so on. I realized, each time they say the names, they will repeat it twice. Hmm.. I wonder why?

As for individual progress, Dedek have just started to eat rice. Previously, Dedek can’t really eat rice. Although, she was 3 then, she still eats ‘Nestum’ as her main meal. But, now she is enjoying rice as much as Kakak. I just love to see her using her left hand picking up the rice one by one to her mouth. I told her to use her right hand, however after awhile she will tend to switch it back again. I suppose, she’s a left-handed person?

As for Kakak, her vocabulary increases. If earlier it was just susu, mama, babah, dedek, kakak. Now, there’s actually more to it. She can actually say something like, ‘Mama nak tidur’ in which to her, it actually means Mama tidur. I cannot understand why she put the word ‘nak’ when in actual fact I was already sleeping. I think, she didn’t quite understand yet what is the meaning of ‘nak’. Anyways, even if it is wrong, I am still happy.

I really can’t wait for them to be able to talk to me.

Kakak, Dedek,
Mama believes that someday, we will be able to talk happily, laughing and enjoying each other’s company and have mother-daughter conversation. That day, it would definitely be the BEST day in Mama’s life.
