It’s A Miracle

Miracle No. 1:
I am scheduled for an interview today as well as a Kick-Off meeting both at 3pm. Thus, yesterday I was trying to figure out, what should I tell CheeseChoc because he was rather busy and stressful and I don’t want to add another burden on his head.

Over the YM, I told a friend, I am just hoping that there would be a miracle. And, miraculously an hour later, I received an email from the HR informing that the Kick-Off meeting had been postponed to a later date. I was like, Oh! My God. Alhamdulillah, thank you very much.

Finally, today CheeseChoc was in and I didn’t even have to lie. I just told him that I have an interview, so I was out at 3pm. Hehe..

Miracle No. 2:
I normally had the fear to tell and explain about my kids during an interview. It is simply because I don’t know how they might think of me after. However, I never failed mentioning it in each interview.

The feedback that I get differs from one another. But, I guess this is the best reaction I got so far. The interviewer was actually looking at me and paused. Then he said, there is nothing to worry about because he said that we could actually work from home, of course with valid reasons and they will as well pay the streamyx for us. I was like, serious??!!! And what is best, he totally understood my situation because he also has a special kid. Wow! I told him, what a relief to be able to let him know. And I confess to him, that sometimes I don’t know whether I should tell or vice versa. He said, he’s glad that I told him in advance because they could at least know before hand and he also added that it wouldn’t be fair to both parties if I were to keep it to myself.

He made my day just by saying those words. And the next half hour, we ended up chit-chatting about his kid and my kids. Cool, ain’t? hehe

And to make my day even better, I passed the interview. Hooray!! Now, I am waiting for the second interview. It is gonna be a phone interview with an Irish Guy. Hopefully, it turns out wonderfully as well. Wish me luck!!!

Miracle no. 3:
Previously, my hubby was quite selective on my job related things such as he don’t really encourage me to work in those company in which will send you training overseas, work late and stuff like that and this company actually have those criterias.

To my shock, he was pleased and he told me to go for it. Again, I was speechless. Instead, I gave him a kiss on his cheek.

Thanx, Babah!!

On the Background : Kakak is next to me, talking non-stop. I think she’s trying to tell me a story in her own language. It sounded something like this, aa ahh mama bagikomas she shu shu per sheta dha she sha ha kaka ha kaka dedek dedek dedek da da da da yo mersha and at one point she stops and scream. Then, she continues again, me shu shu cu mini. How I wish I could understand what she is saying or better still, how I wish that she could talk normally as per other girls her age.

Meanwhile, Dedek is drinking her milk and at the same time she is playing with the iron, pretending to be ironing on the iron board. Hehe..
