The Hospital Trip

Every month I have to send my kids to HUKM for speech and occupational therapies, but today was just a follow up with the paeditrician on their progress and improvements.

I was supposed to meet with our usual paeditrician in which is Dr Rajini. However, she was probably busy doing her morning round checks in the children’s ward, thus left no one else except for the student-just-turned-doctor to attend to my daughters. I was not keen in meeting them because they had me repeat the same old story again. I mean, it is really wasting my time. I came just to see what they have found or probably what next to be done and not telling another doctor how was I during my pregnancy, was the delivery normal, when did I realized that my kids were abnormal and etc. I’m tired. I’m really tired. Yet, I was left with no choice.

I am sad that there is nothing else that we can do. There is still no diagnosis. After probably one hour talking to the student-just-turned-doctor, Dr Rajini came and she told me that there is nothing much left for them to do as well. Right now, they are just waiting for Dr Choy from HKL to give his feedback because he happens to be the most specialized and with most experience. Dr Rajini also claims that Dr Choy is not only famous in Malaysia but also has the international standards. Hopefully, he’s able to help us. As for hubby and I, we just want to know what is the specific syndrome that my kids are suffering then it will be easier for us to look up in the internet and so forth. As well as we could probably find out how to prevent it if we were to plan to have another child in which we do want to add another member to the family.

Hmm.. I guess I just have to wait until next week for the appointment in HKL with Dr Choy. Haih!! I am truly exhausted.
