Last weekend, I was at my parents with my kids while my husband was away, working outstation. To make it merrier, my eldest brother, Mr Crex and family overnight at my parents as well.
That night, all of us were sitting in the living room. We gathered and exchange stories from Air Asia RM0 ticket to Kakak’s and Dedek’s progress. At the same time, Kakak and Dedek non-stop running around, up and down the coffee table, tears the specially-dedicated-to-them-magazines-and-newspaper, plus pestering their cousins (my nephews and niece).
I don’t know what exactly got into them (my daughters), but they probably feel acquainted and familiar with the cousins that they meet like once a month, thus they both were highly hyperactive. The moment they saw Ikram their cousin, in which is the eldest son of Mr Crex, Dedek immediately followed him around and tried to pinch him on the cheeks, on the eye and just everywhere she can instead Kakak, she was more to wanting to play with him by holding his hands and bring him walking to the kitchen and back to the living room; back and forth. Hehe..
The amusing part was when Kakak try to controls every single person in the living room. She organized our seating position. She commanded my brother, Mr Crex’s family to sit together on the longest sofa and get seated in the same manner. All the legs are crossed. And then, she will go round and round the table and yell, “Tepi! Tepi!” at me and my mom, when she thinks that we are blocking her way in which is not true. Hehe..
When, my nephews wanted to run away from Kakak and Dedek, Kakak will shout at them and puts her finger onto her mouth as if, saying no-no-no kind a thing. As for Dedek she will wait at the other end so the cousins have no way out from them. Hehe..
It was a joyous moment although a bit tense when you were somehow controlled by them, nevertheless, little by little we get to see what their capable of doing and how far they have improved altogether. I really cannot stop laughing watching them. They have this innocent look on the face that can melt your heart. The smile and the laughter were priceless.
Kakak and Dedek, both of you really rock my world. Regardless of the tiring nights, I am definitely thankful and proud to have you both in my life. In some unique ways, you both have taught me to become a better person and multiply my patience-ness (I don’t think there’s such a word, but I guess there’s no harm in adding it in my blog-a-dictionary. Hehe..)
Good nite and sleep tight to my little darling angels.
Note : Whilst typing this entry, Dedek is trying to play my PIMPLE and Kakak, was busy playing and pulling my hair. Haih!!!
