Day I – Part II – 8/9 (Friday)

7:30am was our departure time. The ferry was empty. It was filled by us, the F*****ese. Even though, most of us didn’t get enough sleep, but we are still lively and excited! Heheh.. Pictures taken for proof to show that we are really having fun despite the lack of rest.

We arrived Teluk Dalam Resort about 45 minutes later. Had our welcome drinks and get ourselves rested in the allocated room. We were given approximately 1 ½ hours to sleep, eat and freshen up before we start the ‘DAY’.

The ‘DAY’ started with the normal boring stuff, meetings, announcements and so forth. We finally get away from the boring stuff 2 hours later. Gosh! Akhirnya!!! Hehehe…

We had lunch and immediately after lunch was our ‘Team Building Session’. We had to do ‘High Ropes’ and ‘Flying Fox’. Frankly speaking, I was half afraid and half excited. But, the thing with me is that, I have ‘anxiety disorder’. I am not afraid of doing a task but, I will automatically shiver and get very shaky – seriousnyer menggigil tuh beb! Thus, this affects whatever I’m doing.

I have come to know that I am with this ‘anxiety disorder’, for the series of happenings in my life :
  1. When I was in Std 3, in my ‘Kelas Agama’, all the girls were asked to recite Qamat and the boys, to recite Azan. However, I was the lucky lady who had to recite the Azan as well. I was proud and happy to be the chosen one, but the moment I opened my mouth, the Azan came along with a serious attack of shivers and shakes. Funny, ain’t?
  2. I got this when I was a bit older, married with kids. We went for a family day trip to Melaka. There was an ‘anyam ketupat’ competition. I was the only youngster competing with all the makcik’s and pakcik’s. Basically, all of them were my family, so it is not as if, I don’t know them, right? But, again the moment I start moving my fingers to ‘anyam’, I just couldn’t, I start shaking like hell man!!!
  3. And the very recent tragedy was this High-Rope thingy. I was not particularly afraid of the height and I’m actually very anxious to get myself to do it. But, as usual the ‘gigil’ comes with it. The moment I put my foot on the wires/cables/whatever-u-call-it, my whole body shake man! So, what I did was, talk and talk and talk to get it done. Later that day, I found out, the ONLY way to calm myself when I am having this ‘gigil’ thingy is to talk and talk non-stop. It somehow helps a lot. Hehehe… M said that I was W.E.I.R.D. :)

Now, feast yourself with the pictures of me doing High-Rope.

After the ‘Team-Building’ activities, me, Viv and few of the guys played water-polo. Muahaha.. I don’t know how to swim, so they kind of bullied me.. :) Although, don’t think that I don’t know how to swim that I won’t be able to play.. heheh.. I play good, a bit rough though.. Nyeh! Nyeh! And, my group won! Woohoo!!!

And the rest.. to be continued... Wah! Panjang Gell Siot!!!
