Finally, the day has come.. I have nothing to rush.. nothing to submit.. and nothing due…
So, let me start by ‘The Team Building in Pangkor’. It was held on 8/9 – 9/9. It was basically 2 nights and 2 days. Why so? We had to gather and meet up in Projet at 12 mid night. The bus departed at roughly Friday, 1am.
M and I did not sleep in the bus. We were both wide awake considering this is the first time we actually go for a trip together. It is just like the ‘school old days’ whereby you sit on a bus and stayed up, happily chatting with friends.
We stopped at most of the R&R, just to stall time, so we won’t be reaching Lumut too early. M and I, stopped and had a drink at each of the stops. Imagine that! Everybody was fast asleep, but both of us still very energetic. The first hour they showed ‘Dr Do Little 3’, I think! Maybe there’s not much of a viewer, they later switched on ‘Too Fast Too Furious – Tokyo Drift’. And that, didn’t help us at all to put our heads to rest. Again, no sleeping for us, although we did get to blink? Or close our eyes for a while?
I would think, at split seconds we already reached Bidor. Reason being, we were still at Projet, Sri Hartamas at 1am, made few stops and rested for half an hour at each stop and we were already in Bidor at 3 plus???? Was he driving or flying, goodness man!
At Bidor, something shocked us. It was flooded. A really bad flood. I was like, oh shucks!! Please don’t give me any bad signs… I am like, for the very first time I get to go for something like this, the last thing I want to happen is something bad, really bad!
Thank goodness, the bus could get through because if it were to be normal cars, you surely have to wait aside until the flood subsides. We reached the jetty at half past 4. Both, M and I thought that we could finally get our sleep in the bus when we reach the Lumut jetty, but surprise, surprise, the bus need to head back to KL. Shucks! Shmucks!
Thus, we had to camp at the Lumut jetty and wait till the ferry starts to operate, in which is at 700 hours. Thank god, there was a 24 hours mamak to hang out. Plus, we brought cards with us and so, we played ‘SNAP’.
