I was watching Cerekarama entitled “Jatuh Cinta Sekali Lagi” last Saturday. The storyline is very simple. It is about a wife who is trying hard to make her husband fall in love with her again after the hubby told her that he is marrying the secretary.
I think most of the marriages are stagnant at one point. Marriage life has become a routine to couples. It is not that you do not love your partner anymore. It is just more of ‘taking for granted’ scenario.
When you were dating, you probably would like to ‘bergayut’ on the phone for hours but now, the conversation that you have on the phone is more of “Hi and Bye” or probably a bit more than that. Heheh.. Things are different now. Previously, even though you spend 24 hours together but, you are still not living together. You just want more of he/she, it was never enough. Does it make any sense?
In a marriage or very long relationship, you will always need to come up with something new to make the whole ‘bercinta’ thingy full of sparks. It is normal for a person no matter whether it is he/she, both gender would want some new excitement in their lives.
So, the message that I got from the drama was firstly, we wouldn’t want to let something happen then only we try to fix things up. So, always try to sparkles the bond. Although, it was a good example to actually give the hubby a second chance to look at the things in clearer picture.

We cannot simply be mad and go hysterical just because our husbands ask to marry another woman. We first have to ask ourselves what made him decide to marry another one. Dig for the roots.
