‘Macam-macam Kakak and Dedek’

Kakak, organized but very soft person. Mischievous, teaser and persistent is how I would describe Dedek. Dedek will only do whatever she feels like doing. Dedek does not play by the rules unlike Kakak. Kakak follows order and instruction very well.

Miss Shy

Miss Mischievous

If I were to ask Kakak to get something for me, despite her laziness, she still does it even though along the way, she will mutter endlessly. Contrasting, when Dedek is asked to get something, but she is just lazy to get up, she will not move an inch. She tends to ignore the instruction and remain at the same position. Even if I push her, nudge her and bring her near to the thing that she was supposed to take, she will not held her hand and take it. Worst still, her hands are already on the thing but, she won’t grip it. She just let her hands loose. Stubborn, I guess, gosh! I wonder whether she actually got that from me, haih!

Anyways, kids will always be kids. Even at times you are so angry with them but at other times, they are the ones who bring life and joy in the family.

Just like one of those days, we went to a relative’s house for raya. As usual, drinks and foods were served. We were chatting and happily exchanging raya stories and whatnot. When, suddenly I heard a cracked sound. There she was, guilelessly looking at me as if nothing happen. ‘Dedek!!!’, I screamed. Dedek actually bit the glass that she uses to drink. I was more of a shocked rather than being angry to her. She starts to cry. She thought that I was mad at her. I was actually panicked because I was worried sick, if traces of the glass were still inside her mouth. I fear that she will bleed. Every time, when I think that I was an uncaring, heartless and cold person, at times like this, I am glad to know that I still love my kid. It shows and I am happy to be able to experience the feeling.

But, there’s always a happy days in which is filled with laughter and moreover, laughter is the best medicine and one of the funny scenes involving Dedek was when we were holidaying @Cherating, Pahang. It was more of gross than funny, come to think of it. Heheh..

Family Four Goes Cherating

Both my daughters are still in diapers because they are not able to tell when they want to pee or poo. But, because to swim in the pool, so they ‘Go Dutch’!

While we were all busy swimming or more of, playing with the water, Dedek suddenly got out and stood quietly by the pool. From the look of it, I could’ve guessed that she was busy doing ‘big business’, I put my hands to verify lagi tu! Kuang3x, and memang sah-sah lah ‘berisi’, ok? Without thinking, I shouted at my husband and asked him to hold ‘the isi’ so, it won’t fall off and I quickly grabbed the key to our room.

Poor don’t-know-what’s-going-on-hubby was like, why did I ran away and asked him to hold ‘the isi’? I had to u-turned and explained to him that I will run and open the door and he will have to carry Dedek and make sure everything is intact. Only then, he understood and he’s back in action. Hahah.. goodness, whenever I think of this, it not only gave me the biggest grin but, I can laugh out loud with myself too!! And people will start saying that I am crazy. Heheh.. for once, tell me things that I don’t already know, will ya! ;).

That’s about Dedek and so, what about Kakak? Raya story on Kakak was that, she had lost her two front teeth and the ‘wicked’ mother-me, sang her this song for her…

Ngak, ngak, ngak
Kakak Rongak
Pong, pong, pong
Kakak Ompong

Heheh… jahat gell kan!

One sunny day, Kakak complained about her having toothache and she did point it out, however she actually showed her lower teeth. So, aku ni pun, even dah jadik ‘emak’ but, tak perasan apa pun!

Suddenly, I saw her lips were covered with blood then only I realized that her tooth dah tercabut. She was laughing out loud. She finds it funny that her gigi cabut and then, I had to pegang her tooth tuh! So, cam ala-ala grosslah sepatutnya. But, at least, I know that it does not hurt her ;). Alhamdulillah, otherwise penat gak nak memujuk Kakak nih!

And Kakak, kalau time dia menangis, memang lama gell and tak leh langsung nak di pujuk. So, what I did most of the time was just let her cry until she stops by herself. Not that I didn’t try, believe me, I did. But, satu apa pun tak makan, tak jalan. So, finally I give up lah kan!
Tu pasal lah, masa duduk kat Taman Desa tuh, polis siap datang rumah sebab tangisan Kakak yang bagaikan di dera ni lah!

Since I was in Bangkok for two weeks, so menjadi satu kemestian bila I dah balik ke pangkuan keluarga, every night we will bring our kids out. Yelah, nak cuba gantikan balik all the days that I have missed. And so, one of the nights we went to Souq, Putrajaya. Bawak the kids makan ‘nasi ayam’ for dinner and then, bawak main kat the playground. I like the place especially malam, bukannya apa, tak dek lah panas and plus, langsung tak dek orang at that hour! Heheh.. senang sikit nak jaga anak and plus, dengan emak-emaknyer sekali leh main, ok?

Dedek she is one brave girl. She loves panjat-memanjat and she could easily bawak diri. Unlike Kakak, she is scared of height and she would want me to escort her all around. So, I have to pimpin her sampai atas gelongsor and betulkan her position and all, and then push her down and lepas tuh, apalagi, I pun pushkan myself down the gelongsor. Hahaha…

Kakak never fails to amuse me. We were playing ball together and being Kakak, she wants the ball for herself but she still want other people to play with her. And so, hubby and I, dok main sepak-sepak and tendang-tendang to each other, so apalagi, Kakak pun non-stop jerit ler, asking for the ball. Lastly, since sampai ke sudah dia tak dapat the ball and dia malas nak kejar, so she use her ‘regular’ weapon in which is ‘nangis’ ;). Heheh… Kakak, Kakak!
