7 Perkara Pelik Tentang Saya…

First thing first, since I have been tagged and since the tagger has reminded me on it so I thought, it would only be fair if I were to do it, kan? So, here goes….

7 Perkara Pelik Tentang Saya…
You know, it’s really funny because sometimes I really thought that I am a weird person. However, when Rozie tagged me to do this ‘7 Perkara Pelik Tentang Saya’, somehow my mind is blank. I can’t even think of one although I have some in which I still think is not really ‘pelik’.

Anyways… let’s hit it!

I generally have the habit of, for example if I lock the doors. I will tend to check whether I have locked it many, many times and sometimes, I even count from 1 to 10 and look at it again, just to make sure that the door is really locked. Or at other times, if let say, I were to turn off the waters. I will turn it off and then, walk away and another minute. I’ll be back checking on the waters, again!

And you know what? I was not the only one. Have you guys watched the movie, ‘Elektra’? The one that Jennifer Garner looks hot on a skin-tight red leather. Ring any bells?

Well, she did something similar. She actually counts her steps whenever she walks and it’s because she suffers from OCD – Obsessive-Compulsive Order. I think, I may have that too!!

What is obsessive-compulsive disorder?
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an illness that causes people to have unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and to repeat certain behaviors (compulsions) over and over again. We all have habits and routines in our daily lives, such as brushing our teeth before bed. However, for people with OCD, patterns of behavior get in the way of their daily lives.Most people with OCD know that their obsessions and compulsions make no sense, but they can't ignore or stop them.

Ok, this one my hubby does said that I am weird. I do not know how weird but, to him it is.

I cannot eat anything immediately after getting up in the morning without brushing my teeth and taking my bath, first! I will just wait even if I only take my bath at 10am.

However, I can wake up for ‘sahur’ and immediately, eat without brushing my teeth ;).

Hahah.. mind-setting, huh!!

I use 2 straws to drink. Close friends will know and they will get 2 straws for me. Why? I think that it is much faster. Hahah..

Entahlah, kind of use to it already! Nothing biggie, kan?

Most of the time on a normal day, the first thing that I’ll do after I get inside the car is to lock the doors. I have a very ‘weird’ urge to open the doors if it is left unlocked.

Kalau gosok gigi tuh, it has to be done twice. Kalau once tuh, rasa macam tak sempurna jer aktiviti I memberus gigi. And both times, it is with toothpaste and come to think of it kan, I think, I do not know how to brush my teeth in the correct way. I just brush!

And, I still remember, when I was younger I boleh jer pakai my brother punyer berus gigi. Kuang3x. Me and my eldest brother curi pakai my second elder brother punyer toothbrush. Well, too bad. Those days, he was like using Oral B brand and the rest of us, just pakai jenama apa entah. Hahah.. memang lawaks gell, ok?

Yang ini, maybe tak dek lah pelik sangat kot. This habit, I inherited it from my beloved father. Heheh.. my father pun dapat bahagian, ekk? Hehhe… anyways, it is not as if it is a bad thing pun.

So, what is it? I will wrap the books I currently read with whatever papers. Usually, I will use those brochures that we get along with our credit card statement or at times, I will use the magazine papers the one with erra fazira pictures on it and whatnot or also, sometimes it’s just a plain A4 paper ;).

If I am in a car or just whatever transportation, I love so much to look at the ‘bahagian belakang’ kereta! Somehow, I can see the car smiles in different ways. The plat numbers are like the teeth. And so, kekadang tuh I can see those rabbit teeth punyer kind of smile, or senyum kambing, sinis nya smile and lots more. Don’t ask me how I see but, I just can. It is as if, those cars are smiling at me!!

Hahah.. so, itulah di antara perangai-perangai pelik saya. I hope, that is entertaining enough for you guys out there.

And so, inilah dia the minah yang tag I. She was at Cyberjaya last week and we went out for lunch to do some catching up. It has been awhile since we last met.
